Mission Statement
"The Mission of the
Borger Police Department is to positively impact the
quality of live throughout the community. To achieve
these ends, the department is committed to forming
practical partnerships with citizenry, which includes
a mutual goal setting processes aimed at resolving
problems, reducing fear, preserving the peace, and
enforcing the law, thereby providing a safe environment
for all citizens".
The Borger Police Department is a full service organization with a current strength of 42 employees, including 27 sworn officers. The officers, staff and employees of the Department strive to ensure the safety of our citizens and the continued strength and stability of our community. Thru the Department's open door policy, community outreach programs and public relations the Borger Police Department maintains community cooperation and trust between the department and the citizens they serve.
